When in the beginning of 90's the ice hockey goalies started to change their ice hockey helmets with cages of their full visor masks to modern goalie masks, I was fascinated by the forms and colors of these facemasks. 1996 I bought my first goalie mask.... and I painted my first design. This creativity and my passion for painting masks got around and very quickly other goalies paid attention to this. Soon, the hobby became an interesting additional income, with finally led to the foundation of my own company pons.ch. Today I'm 36 years I've extended my spectrum - beside goalie masks I'm also painting ski helmets, snowboard helmets, helmets for triathlon athlets or motor sport helmets.

During the past 18 years, I've painted about 1'800 masks and helmets according to ideas of conceptions of my clients. The range of the design possibilities is what inspires me for my activity until today. Each pons.ch design is a unique piece of art of the highest quality.
